Pinehurst Resort is a golf resort in Pinehurst, NC. It has hosted a number of prestigious golf tournaments including three U.S. Open Championships, on U.S. Women’s Open, three U.S. Amateur Chamionships, one PGA Chamionship, and the Ryder Cup. Pinehurst consists of nine 18-hole golf courses, each named simply by a number, and a 9-hole short course.

Whistling Straits is one of two 36-hole links-style golf courses in Kohler, Wisconsin. Whistling Straits is separated into two courses, the Straits Course and the Irish Course. The courses at Whistling Straits (and Blackwolf Run) were designed by Pete and Alice Dye.

The courses are called "Red," "Blue," and "Black" - Red is designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Blue by Tom Doak, and Black by Gil Hanse. Golfweek magazine named Streamsong the best new golf course in 2012 and put the courses amongst the top 40 public courses in the world in 2013.

The Ocean Course is the most famous course at Kiawah Island, and was designed by Pete and Alice Dye. The course was designed so that players have a view of the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean, but also to expose golfers to the often-strong winds in the area

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a complex of five links and a par-3 golf course on the West Coast of the United States, located alongside the Pacific Ocean in southwest Oregon, just north of the city of Bandon.
